BETin Bioplastic Project

BETin Bioplastic Project

BETin Bioplastic Project has been selected and featured along with 100 projects at the competition’s exhibition at Jumeirah Emirates Tower-Dubai as part of the COP28 Exhibition.

Under the broad theme of “Climate and Society”, the 2023 edition of Prototypes for Humanity selected 100 most innovative and impactful projects with transformative potential. BETin`s prototype has been chosen out of more than 3,000 applications made by 710 universities/research institutions across the global. The exhibition is open and expected to be visited by high level officials, business leaders, consultants, researchers, students and general public. The resulting 100 shortlisted projects were developed by graduates from universities including Yale, Stanford, Oxford, Princeton, Berkeley, MIT, Harvard, Cambridge and Bournemouth. It is indeed a privilege and honor for BETin to have a prototype with global standard along with products developed by the best universities in the world. Congratulations Dr. Firew Tafesse, PI of the Project and Potato Bioplastic Research Team at BETin for the innovative project.
